The College Now program at Bronx Community College offers highly motivated high school students the opportunity to take high school or college-credit courses after school.
Academically qualified students can take courses for college credit in math, science, history, psychology, and sociology. Courses are taught either at the high school or on the Bronx Community College campus.
Courses in math, chemistry, physics, and history prepare students for more advanced college courses. They are offered after school at BCC partner high schools. Most courses are offered for high school elective credit, but you should check with your high school’s liaison or CN staff to be sure.
- Search for your high school. If your high school is a partner, make a note of its BCC College Now liaison. The liaison is the person you’ll need to contact to see exactly what courses and activities are open to you, deadlines for enrollment, etc. If no liaison is listed, contact the BCC College Now Office for more information about activities at your school.
- If your high school is not officially partnered with BCC, you can contact Central Office CN staff to inquire about your options.
