Color is all around us, but have you ever thought about why we perceive it as we do or how it affects our everyday life? Find out in a college-level Visual Design course on color. Then, apply your new skills to creating recycling-themed art pieces in the afternoon sculpture course.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a New York City public high school student, entering 12th grade in September 2009.
- Have a minimum score of 75 on the English Regents (ELA) exam OR 480 on the SAT verbal/critical reading section.
- Demonstrate talent in drawing or painting.
Students coming from York College's partner schools will be given priority, but eligible students from other public schools may attend if space permits.
