Career Exploration: Radio and Television (CN-CERTV)

Would you rather be making television than watching it? This summer, get behind the camera in Kingsborough Community College's radio and television studios. You will get hands-on experience using broadcast equipment to produce and edit, hear from guest speakers about their experiences in the media, attend a college course for credit, and take field trips off campus to meet with professionals in the field.

Eligibility Requirements

• Be a New York City public high school student, entering 12th grade in September 2009
• Have a minimum overall high school GPA of 80
• Submit an application, your high school transcript, a parental consent form, and an essay describing why you wish to enroll in the program.

Students coming from Kingsborough Community College partner schools will be given priority, but eligible students from other public schools may attend if space permits.
