Expressions in Theatre and Architecture
Tap into your creativity and learn to solve problems in innovative ways! Theatre and architecture require discipline and the ability to consider other points of view and see possibilities beyond what already exists.
You choose which area of study to focus on, and your time will be split between playwriting and acting workshops or learning the basics of architecture so you can draft your own plans and design a "habitat." In-class work will culminate in a performance project for theater students and a design project for architecture students. Trips to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows and some of the city’s architectural landmarks round out the course.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a New York City public high school student, entering 11th or 12th grade in September 2009
