Located in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, Medgar Evers College is noted for its commitment to academic excellence and community development. The College presently offers 18 degree programs leading to the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Science degrees.

Today, the College enrolls more than 5,300 degree students and over 4,000 continuing education students. Medgar Evers College is the only institution in The City University of New York with a career ladder in Nursing (including a non-credit nursing assistant program, 45 credit hour practical nursing program that articulates directly into the A.A.S. degree program, Associate in Applied Science and Bachelor of Science degree programs).
