"During the time that I have known Kera, she has always conducted herself in a manner that exemplifies a student in her senior year of high school. She is conscientious, respectful, responsible, and quiet. In fact, she can be considered as a role model for every student."

Excerpts from Kera's Essay
America is a nation that represents freedom and opportunity. I am proud to live in America because of the advantages and values I have received. The opportunities that I have had have inspired me to give back to those who are less fortunate or are just in need of assistance. Right now I am involved in a lot of activities that allow me to contribute to my community and my school.
Participating in these activities has had a very positive impact on my life. I am able to feel like I am contributing to my school and also my community. Also, participating in these activities has given me something constructive to do with my time. Instead of wasting my time I made a difference not only in my own life, but in the lives of those around me.
