College Now @ Brooklyn College
Can a garden change how you see the world?
In this program, you will become an environmental steward as you work with a team of students to transform unused space into green oases, develop teamwork and leadership skills, discuss, read and watch films that illuminate the program's theme of sustainability.
In addition, Brooklyn College staff, faculty and students will accompany you on field trips to see some of the most exciting community-based programs currently thriving in New York City. There you will meet the dynamic, ordinary people working locally to promote sustainable models of food access, space planning, transportation and energy use.
A green thumb is not required, just the ability to learn.
