College Now @ LaGuardia Community College
Environmental Engineering and Earth Science Systems
Summer Science Engineering Program
Do you want to know what environmental engineers do?
The LaGuardia Community College summer STEM program pairs a 3-credit college Math course: MAT115 (College Algebra and Trigonometry) with 3 hands-on engineering projects that will engage you in building a solar house, a rotary parking tower with an electrical station, and estimating the average Earth Surface Temperature (EST) using MATLAB software. This is your opportunity to apply your Math skills to real-life problem-solving and inter-disciplinary learning.
