Summer Science and Engineering Program

Environmental Engineering and Earth Science Systems

Do you want to know what environmental engineers do?   Our summer STEM program pairs a 3-credit college Math course: MAT115 (College Algebra and Trigonometry) with 3 hands-on projects that will engage you in building a rotary parking tower with an electrical station, building an electric car powered by solar panels, and estimating the average Earth Surface Temperature (EST) using MATLAB software. This is your opportunity to apply your Math skills to real-life problem-solving and inter-disciplinary learning.
